Just a short note to let you all know that the mini-series on “How to build a website from scratch” is moving along nicely at a leisurely pace. There are now four 1000 word+ articles in the series. If they carry on at the current rate, it will turn into a full-blown major series – and why not?
There’s nothing like a good set of tutorial type informational articles to keep the interest at its peak as well as to inform visitors to the site just what a great resource it is becoming for the budding Internet Marketing entrepreneur as well as a good read for some of the more seasoned Internet marketers out there!
So if you have some time to spare and want to get in on this tutorial series from close to the start, head over to my articles page and dive right in!

A thriving online business with products to sell via a website or even several websites can really leap into overdrive by gaining all the credibility that being able to accept credit cards directly from your sales pages gives you. The best way to achieve that is to open a merchant account.
A you would expect, there are many companies that offer merchant account facilities to online businesses of all types. Each company has their own tariffs and will charge you according to various criteria. There is one company that I’ve found called Advantage Processors and they look like they have a pretty good track record.
I had a good look around their site and was pleasantly surprised at the level of service they offer online businesses. Advantage Processors offer a good selection of business merchant solutions ranging from low risk established businesses to the higher risk, new or fledgling businesses to those that fall outside the mainstream types of business that present the highest risk of all. They have a merchant account package to suit just about any online business.
What does that mean for your business?
Well, you may have considered signing up to one or other merchant accounts but were worried they may not accept your business for one reason or another. It could be that your business is fairly new and untested. It could be that your products are not considered mainstream enough. It could even be that your business has an adult theme or is involved with legal gaming which you feel may be frowned upon by merchant banks.
Well, Advantage Processors could be the solution you were looking for. They have accounts to suit just about any type of online business. So if you were apprehensive about taking that first step towards adding a merchant account to your business armory, why not take a look at their homepage. You might be pleasantly surprised!
Thanks for taking time to look in. See you again soon!

Yep, the articles on building a website from scratch are starting to flow now. There are three of ‘em in the articles database for you budding webmasters to get your heads around. The website that I will be building alongside the articles has a name:
Organic Sanity
As you will have already figured out from the above link, it also has a domain and is hosted. There isn’t much to see just yet as I want to put the site together in real time alongside the publication of each new article, so it may take a couple of weeks to morph into something that looks like a professional site.
But time is relative, here. Someone reading these articles as I publish them will see time moving slowly as the website grows piece by piece, graphic by graphic, page by page. Someone else coming in and reading the articles once they’re all published will see only a finished site – but don’t let that put anyone off – there are a set of tutorial pages that you can open (or will be able to open as I publish each new article) that will show the website in it’s various stages of development.
So you will, in the coming weeks, have the choice to read the articles and look at the tutorial pages to see the site unfurling in real time, or take the impatient route and just open the finished site and try to figure out how I built it (not recommended).
So a short piece about the site itself. As the name, Organic Sanity might suggest, the theme of the site will be organic produce – specifically the niche will be organic gardening as this is a topic that is very close to my heart and one that I know quite a bit about – and one that interests me big time! I’ll be aiming to get the site into a money making position as well, because what’s the point of building a professional site if you’re not going to use it to earn some online beer vouchers. (That’s organic beer, if you like!)
I can’t think of a more Honest Way to make some online cash than with good, down to earth (pun intended!) organic produce linked to some solid organically themed products and ebooks. Can you?
Until next time…

Hi everyone!
This post is to blatantly draw attention to a new mini-series of articles that I’m putting together which will focus on building a website from the ground up. But the good bit about this mini-series is that I’ll actually be building a real website and writing about every step I take, which includes a mini-tutorial on…
HTML and Stylesheets!
So for the beginner who has never tried that before, I’ll be giving you – FOR FREE – a complete, informative and very usable and readable beginner’s manual on how to build a killer website that will not only show you how to use HTML and stylesheets properly, but will also contain tips on creating all the pages you’ll need to get your website into a state of readiness to…
Make Money!
Well, what else would you want a killer website for? If you only want to put up your family snaps and a few words about the pets and where you went on holiday, you can do that really well using one of the free templates that are everywhere these days.
But for making a business out of your website, you’re going to need a bit more than a run-of-the-mill, same-as-everyone-else website. That’s why I’m doing it this way. You’ll get to see exactly how I put a real site together (one which I will then monetise and use for my own profit!).
I’ll show you how to make your own unique , money oriented, business ready website by following my own steps and then altering the parts you need to make it your own.
Now if that isn’t worth telling all your friends about, I don’t know what is! So keep an eye on my articles page over the coming weeks for new additions as I post them.
See you again soon!
