Yep, the articles on building a website from scratch are starting to flow now. There are three of ‘em in the articles database for you budding webmasters to get your heads around. The website that I will be building alongside the articles has a name:
Organic Sanity
As you will have already figured out from the above link, it also has a domain and is hosted. There isn’t much to see just yet as I want to put the site together in real time alongside the publication of each new article, so it may take a couple of weeks to morph into something that looks like a professional site.
But time is relative, here. Someone reading these articles as I publish them will see time moving slowly as the website grows piece by piece, graphic by graphic, page by page. Someone else coming in and reading the articles once they’re all published will see only a finished site - but don’t let that put anyone off - there are a set of tutorial pages that you can open (or will be able to open as I publish each new article) that will show the website in it’s various stages of development.
So you will, in the coming weeks, have the choice to read the articles and look at the tutorial pages to see the site unfurling in real time, or take the impatient route and just open the finished site and try to figure out how I built it (not recommended).
So a short piece about the site itself. As the name, Organic Sanity might suggest, the theme of the site will be organic produce - specifically the niche will be organic gardening as this is a topic that is very close to my heart and one that I know quite a bit about - and one that interests me big time! I’ll be aiming to get the site into a money making position as well, because what’s the point of building a professional site if you’re not going to use it to earn some online beer vouchers. (That’s organic beer, if you like!)
I can’t think of a more Honest Way to make some online cash than with good, down to earth (pun intended!) organic produce linked to some solid organically themed products and ebooks. Can you?
Until next time…

Hi everyone!
This post is to blatantly draw attention to a new mini-series of articles that I’m putting together which will focus on building a website from the ground up. But the good bit about this mini-series is that I’ll actually be building a real website and writing about every step I take, which includes a mini-tutorial on…
HTML and Stylesheets!
So for the beginner who has never tried that before, I’ll be giving you - FOR FREE - a complete, informative and very usable and readable beginner’s manual on how to build a killer website that will not only show you how to use HTML and stylesheets properly, but will also contain tips on creating all the pages you’ll need to get your website into a state of readiness to…
Make Money!
Well, what else would you want a killer website for? If you only want to put up your family snaps and a few words about the pets and where you went on holiday, you can do that really well using one of the free templates that are everywhere these days.
But for making a business out of your website, you’re going to need a bit more than a run-of-the-mill, same-as-everyone-else website. That’s why I’m doing it this way. You’ll get to see exactly how I put a real site together (one which I will then monetise and use for my own profit!).
I’ll show you how to make your own unique , money oriented, business ready website by following my own steps and then altering the parts you need to make it your own.
Now if that isn’t worth telling all your friends about, I don’t know what is! So keep an eye on my articles page over the coming weeks for new additions as I post them.
See you again soon!

If you are in business online and you have a website or websites that sell products to the public, you’ll get to a stage where you’ll need to be able to accept credit cards directly from your sales pages. To do that, you’ll need a merchant account.
Now there are many merchant accounts available to online businesses, each with their various merits, values, charges and terms. I’ve been looking around and happened to stumble on Advantage Processors homepage.
I stopped there for a while and had a browse through to see what they had on offer and was pleasantly surprised. Advantage Processors have quite a wide selection of business merchant solutions from low risk, steady and established businesses to high risk, new and non-mainstream businesses. From what I could see, they have a package to suit just about any online business.
How does that help you?
Well, perhaps you’ve looked at other merchant accounts but didn’t feel they would accept your business for a variety of reasons. Perhaps your business is fairly new and untested or your product base is not mainstream enough or perhaps has an adult theme or is involved with legal gaming which you feel might be frowned upon nevertheless.
Well, Advantage Processors has them all covered and some. It might just be worth your while heading over to their homepage to have a look for yourself!
Thanks for taking time to look in. See you again soon!
