A thriving online business with products to sell via a website or even several websites can really leap into overdrive by gaining all the credibility that being able to accept credit cards directly from your sales pages gives you. The best way to achieve that is to open a merchant account.
A you would expect, there are many companies that offer merchant account facilities to online businesses of all types. Each company has their own tariffs and will charge you according to various criteria. There is one company that I’ve found called Advantage Processors and they look like they have a pretty good track record.
I had a good look around their site and was pleasantly surprised at the level of service they offer online businesses. Advantage Processors offer a good selection of business merchant solutions ranging from low risk established businesses to the higher risk, new or fledgling businesses to those that fall outside the mainstream types of business that present the highest risk of all. They have a merchant account package to suit just about any online business.
What does that mean for your business?
Well, you may have considered signing up to one or other merchant accounts but were worried they may not accept your business for one reason or another. It could be that your business is fairly new and untested. It could be that your products are not considered mainstream enough. It could even be that your business has an adult theme or is involved with legal gaming which you feel may be frowned upon by merchant banks.
Well, Advantage Processors could be the solution you were looking for. They have accounts to suit just about any type of online business. So if you were apprehensive about taking that first step towards adding a merchant account to your business armory, why not take a look at their homepage. You might be pleasantly surprised!
Thanks for taking time to look in. See you again soon!

Have you checked out PayPal? In most cases you have to pay [and it's not just a couple of dollars/month] for the merchant account and, while it might give your customers confidence in doing business with you, more and more businesses start accepting PayPal as their primary type of payment of choice.

Of course! Paypal is still the payment method of choice for most online marketers, but I wanted to highlight the merchant account alternative for when your business starts making money online in truckloads!
Until that day, Paypal will still be the firm favourite!
