Is a CSS Optimizer a good choice?

Postby Scooter on Sun Nov 29, 2009 7:26 pm

Just wondering if its wise to utilize a CSS Optimizer?
I found this one (h**p://www.cleancss.com/) but I'm not certain if its a wise decision to make any of these changes, etc.

I wouldn't worry about optimizing your CSS code unless you have thousands and thousands of visitors per day. Reducing the the size of your CSS file won't really improve your users' experience, but for sites like espn.com it can save on bandwidth costs.
